This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
First day on my new deviant page! I want to send warm thanks to everyone who has greeted, encouraged, critiqued and complimented me already! 30 minutes and I already feel at home here. THANK YOU!
I'm excited to finally have my art displayed online! Especially on such a site with so many opportunities. A little about my story: my drive to join was finally materialized after an encouraging experience: I painted and sold the same painting within 48 hours. It was then I realized I needed to begin marketing my work, because if I could sell by word of mouth, imagine what could happen online.
I also realized that since I have been keeping my art on the down-low, my opportunities for growth through critique had become limited. In such an easily accessible world, it seems silly not to reach out for advice, critique and inspiration.
Recently, my inspiration has been the Buddha, but not in the traditional sense. I could write a long and boring explanation of my thought process, but the short version: the juxtaposition of a glamorous Buddha intrigues me to the point of giddiness. I only paint what makes me smile these days, so I am going with this new idea and I'm pleased to see that others are sharing my enthusiasm!
My hope is to inspire you, and join you deviants who have inspired me in this community of shared artistry and imagination! I look forward our journey!
